Tomasz Danisiewicz started the match with the kick off. Zbyszek Porajewski's late challenge caught a MKS Alwernia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. In the 4thth minute of the game Borys Drzewucki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MKS Tarnovia's Grzegorz Jarmulowicz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hieronim Niezywy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Marian Domaradzki made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomasz Danisiewicz in the 9th minute of play forced MKS Alwernia's goalkeeper Marian Domaradzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute Zbyszek Porajewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Domaradzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Borys Drzewucki in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Grzegorz Jarmulowicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. MKS Alwernia's Marian Domaradzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomasz Danisiewicz in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Borys Drzewucki in the 21st minute of play forced MKS Tarnovia's goalkeeper Grzegorz Jarmulowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Witomir Pochorylo charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a defensive mix-up in MKS Tarnovia's zone, Borys Drzewucki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After a rather tough play, MKS Tarnovia's Beniamin Antoszewski got a free kick in the 34th minute. The supporters of MKS Alwernia booed when MKS Tarnovia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wlodzimierz Plucinik didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th match minute, MKS Tarnovia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbyszek Porajewski to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute, Tomasz Danisiewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marian Domaradzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wlodzimierz Plucinik in the 43rd minute of play. Stefan Siekierski hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Borys Drzewucki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. MKS Alwernia's Marian Domaradzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wlodzimierz Plucinik in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, MKS Tarnovia's goalkeeper Grzegorz Jarmulowicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teofil Brysz. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Borys Drzewucki managed to get in a good position for a shot. MKS Alwernia's supporters rose to their feet, but Borys Drzewucki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Grzegorz Jarmulowicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marian Domaradzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wlodzimierz Plucinik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th match minute, MKS Alwernia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulryk Andrysiak to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wlodzimierz Plucinik in the 63rd minute of play forced MKS Alwernia's goalkeeper Marian Domaradzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 67 played minutes MKS Tarnovia got a freekick which was hit by Zbyszek Porajewski. Grzegorz Jarmulowicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Borys Drzewucki was extremely unlucky when he, in the 87th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After having played for 87 minutes, Borys Drzewucki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MKS Alwernia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Borys Drzewucki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Witomir Harendarski came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the MKS Alwernia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Witomir Harendarski couldn't finish the play. Borys Drzewucki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grzegorz Jarmulowicz having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Borys Drzewucki in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Grzegorz Jarmulowicz saved MKS Tarnovia from getting behind. MKS Tarnovia succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though MKS Alwernia had controlled the match.
