After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Cezary Czubski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ipswich Town's supporters rose to their feet, but Cezary Czubski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roman Blochowiak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 10th minute, Leonard Gierlach fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Roman Blochowiak, passed just outside the right post. Czarni Jasło's Roman Blochowiak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Czarni Jasło from getting a goal against them. After 16 minutes Czarni Jasło's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Boleslaw Sroka who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Ipswich Town's Boleslaw Sroka to fire away a dangerous shot which Roman Blochowiak despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Roman Blochowiak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cezary Czubski's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. If Leonard Gierlach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roman Blochowiak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cezary Czubski, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute, Cezary Czubski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ipswich Town fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 33rd minute, Michal Sikola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Leonard Gierlach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cezary Czubski was extremely unlucky when he, in the 37th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Leonard Gierlach blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roman Blochowiak having to make a save. In the 40th minute Cezary Czubski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Blochowiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Czarni Jasło:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ipswich Town:s goal. 45 minutes into the match, Boleslaw Sroka notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Czarni Jasło's Roman Blochowiak. Roman Blochowiak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cezary Czubski was the one to do the kick off. Czarni Jasło's Roman Blochowiak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cezary Czubski in the 51st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonard Gierlach in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roman Blochowiak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 54 minutes into the match, Ipswich Town's goal looked a bit too open when Radoslaw Bury came free, but Roch Sienkiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roland Zajac during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th minute, Roland Zajac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Czarni Jasło getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Gustaw Awizo hit a great ball. Leonard Gierlach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Blochowiak having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Cezary Czubski made a precise shot to the right of Roman Blochowiak. Czarni Jasło's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Roman Blochowiak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cezary Czubski in the 71st minute of play. Cezary Czubski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Roman Blochowiak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Leonard Gierlach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ipswich Town had played much better football throughout.
