The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zachary Kisiel struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Roch Sienkiewicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosmierka. Leonard Gierlach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kryspin Lizewski having to interfere. 0-1 became the score in the 9th minute when Zbyszko Wyrostek elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Leonard Gierlach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roch Sienkiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbyszko Wyrostek, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ipswich Town's goalkeeper Roch Sienkiewicz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kryspin Lizewski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonard Gierlach in the 20th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ipswich Town's Leonard Gierlach slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kryspin Lizewski. That made the score 2-1 after 26 minutes of play. In the 31st match minute, Rosmierka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Szczepan Czerniejewski to maneuver through the defense. Zbyszko Wyrostek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 46 minutes of play, Ipswich Town's Cezary Czubski made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kryspin Lizewski was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Zachary Kisiel might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roch Sienkiewicz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zachary Kisiel ran back to his position shaking his head. Kryspin Lizewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Zajac, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Rosmierka's Kryspin Lizewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Kaczanek in the 79th minute of play. Rosmierka's Emil Knopek was substituted for Jakub Waselewicz. A collision led to Ipswich Town getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Arkadiusz Kaczorowski hit a great ball. Szczepan Rakowski's late challenge caught a Ipswich Town's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Szczepan Rakowski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 89th minute, Szczepan Rakowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Cezary Czubski sped through Rosmierka's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kryspin Lizewski. The supporters of Ipswich Town booed when Rosmierka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juliusz Ciborek didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Ipswich Town support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
