The referee ignored Bartodzieje Bydgoszcz's protests and gave Tomasz Indyk a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of OSD GKS booed when Bartodzieje Bydgoszcz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomasz Indyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. With 16 minutes on the clock, Ludomir Betonowy commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 17th match minute, OSD GKS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludomir Betonowy to maneuver through the defense. Filip Bendyk came out of the goal and Ulryk Kornecki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 33 minutes of play, OSD GKS's Ulryk Kornecki made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filip Bendyk was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tadeusz Smolak came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Bartodzieje Bydgoszcz's Tanek Gdaniec. But to his dismay, Tanek Gdaniec quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Boguslaw Kieca hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Marek Birkenhagen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The OSD GKS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ulryk Kornecki made the kick off in the second half. Bartodzieje Bydgoszcz's Tanek Gdaniec got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, OSD GKS's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Niemojewski came free, but Tadeusz Smolak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tanek Gdaniec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jurand Radziszewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Filip Bendyk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Ulryk Kornecki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filip Bendyk. Bartodzieje Bydgoszcz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulryk Kornecki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-7. The audience was convinced that Ulryk Kornecki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filip Bendyk was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. 88 minutes into the match, Bartodzieje Bydgoszcz's goal looked a bit too open when Ulryk Kornecki came free, but Filip Bendyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Witomir Bator kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After 93 played minutes, OSD GKS's Leon Dembkowski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Filip Bendyk came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in OSD GKS reached it. Gwidon Oliszewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Filip Bendyk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
