With a little luck, Koszarawa Żywiec's Godfredo Lamberto got control of the ball when Stefan Rasiak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Koszarawa Żywiec's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Stefan Rasiak scored to the left of an out of position Godfredo Lamberto, making the score, 1-0. 7 minutes into the match, Tymoteusz Bartochowski sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Godfredo Lamberto threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Tymoteusz Bartochowski this time. A hard shot 9 in the game by Stefan Rasiak from a close distance when the talented Godfredo Lamberto managed to make a qualified save. Koszarawa Żywiec's players were relieved. After 10 played minutes Koszarawa Żywiec got a freekick which was hit by Tolek Bobrowski. Godfredo Lamberto was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tymoteusz Bartochowski. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Waldemar Wierzcholek in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Godfredo Lamberto saved Koszarawa Żywiec from getting behind. After 20 minutes of play, Koszarawa Żywiec's Ulryk Matela made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wawrzyniec Rzeszutko was left in no man's land by his defense there! Stefan Rasiaks short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Godfredo Lamberto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Stefan Rasiak had several of the Koszarawa Żywiec's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 23 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Godfredo Lamberto as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Maciej Dytrych came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Koszarawa Żywiec fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maciej Dytrych couldn't finish the play. If Ulryk Matela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute Koszarawa Żywiec were awarded a corner. Tolek Bobrowski went to the cornerflag to take it. Tolek Bobrowski made a great header on Koszarawa Żywiec's corner, it was just that Radziejowa's Wawrzyniec Rzeszutko managed to reach the ball for a save. Ulryk Matela's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wawrzyniec Rzeszutko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Waldemar Wierzcholek to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Radziejowa's goalkeeper Wawrzyniec Rzeszutko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tymoteusz Bartochowski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Godfredo Lamberto. Koszarawa Żywiec's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Radziejowa booed when Koszarawa Żywiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anísio Saraiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tolek Bobrowski hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Godfredo Lamberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Rasiak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, Waldemar Wierzcholek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Godfredo Lamberto was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Maciej Dytrych received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Wawrzyniec Rzeszutko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ulryk Matela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maciej Dytrych got free with Wawrzyniec Rzeszutko in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Maciej Dytrych had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Koszarawa Żywiec's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Radziejowa had won, even though Koszarawa Żywiec had held more of the ball.
