The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tadeusz Zieba showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ignác Bihari was shown his second yellow card after 22 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 23 played minutes EBE GKS got a freekick which was hit by Ignác Bihari. 27 minutes into the match, Stefan Brysz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tadeusz Zieba, 1-0. Stefan Brysz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeusz Zieba having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stefan Brysz was the one to do the kick off. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Orlando Działoszyn's goalkeeper Maciej Japola, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. EBE GKS's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 84th minute of the game, when Damaso Beat after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Orlando Działoszyn's goal. Damaso Beat was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. After having played for 88 minutes, Napoleon Gabis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EBE GKS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Napoleon Gabis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute of the match Boguslaw Solak sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tadeusz Zieba skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, EBE GKS's Terrence Hendricks got a free kick in the 96th minute. EBE GKS's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Orlando Działoszyn had won, even though EBE GKS had held more of the ball.
