The referee showed Zdzislaw Mocko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 13 played minutes Gerlach got a freekick which was hit by Krzysztof Absolwent. After 20 played minutes FC Maggots got a freekick which was hit by Olaf Filipkowski. Stanislaw Rydz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bartlomiej Pilsudski came out and tried to block the shot, but Stanislaw Rydz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 21st minute. Wasyl Ziemniak who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Bartlomiej Pilsudski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 27th match minute, FC Maggots was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sylwester Dlugi to maneuver through the defense. Jakub Szotek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zdzislaw Mocko in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gerlach's Zachariasz Gierasik got a free kick in the 34th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zdzislaw Mocko to make the kick off.
