The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Artur Chlebek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boruc Hatman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Karol Sliwinski fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olimpia HSB's protests and gave Karol Sliwinski a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Olimpia HSB getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Karol Sliwinski hit a great ball. Boruc Hatman might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Artur Chlebek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Boruc Hatman ran back to his position shaking his head. When Florian Bartoszek came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Warsaw Players fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florian Bartoszek couldn't finish the play. Boruc Hatman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maciej Sliwinski scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Artur Chlebek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Boruc Hatman took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Artur Chlebek. Olimpia HSB's Artur Chlebek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florian Bartoszek in the 25th minute of play. Waldemar Awizo's late challenge caught a Warsaw Players's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Waldemar Awizo helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 played minutes Olimpia HSB got a freekick which was hit by Bartosz Markowski. 29 minutes into the match, Florian Bartoszek notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Olimpia HSB's Artur Chlebek. Artur Chlebek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ignacy Czarnecki might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Artur Chlebek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ignacy Czarnecki ran back to his position shaking his head. After 37 minutes of play Olimpia HSB's Karol Sliwinski was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. If Boruc Hatman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florian Bartoszek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bartosz Markowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ignacy Czarnecki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Borys Ewertowski hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, Marek Mikulski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bartosz Markowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksander Jarek having to interfere. Bartosz Markowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Olimpia HSB fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Warsaw Players were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
