In the 16th minute, Denis Veddermann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the game, Arka Gdynia's Juli Turshinka nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ksawery Wolniewicz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Mariusz Marosz took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Michal Brzeszczak to make any attempt to save it. Zbyszek Kaczucha was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 31 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, one of Arka Gdynia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Arka Gdynia. After a rather tough play, Arka Gdynia's Ryszard Kaminski got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Michal Brzeszczak acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 34th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jedrzej Nieruchliwy. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kajetan Tipinski got free with Michal Brzeszczak in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ksawery Wolniewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Veddermann, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Michal Brzeszczak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariusz Marosz, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Karol Domeradzki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arka Gdynia's supporters rose to their feet, but Karol Domeradzki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ksawery Wolniewicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th minute, Mariusz Marosz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ksawery Wolniewicz made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Karol Domeradzki sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Arka Gdynia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
