Przemyslaw Mlekodaj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Piotr Sniegowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 25 played minutes Space Cowboys got a freekick which was hit by Marian Marchewka. Benedykt Cizeski kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. If Marian Marchewka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Klement Cwynar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szymon Szkaradek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Space Cowboys's Gwidon Ankiewicz got a free kick in the 35th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Space Cowboys's zone, Janusz Pleban stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Piotr Sniegowski came out of the goal and Janusz Pleban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Andrzej Lerych had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 43rd minute Andrzej Lerych shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piotr Sniegowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Szymon Szkaradek struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Klement Cwynar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Space Cowboys. Klement Cwynar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Waclaw Mocko in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Szymon Szkaradek made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Boruta Łęczyca defense, Marian Marchewka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Klement Cwynar. The Boruta Łęczyca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Klement Cwynar should have stopped the shot. Marian Marchewka's late challenge caught a Boruta Łęczyca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marian Marchewka helped the player get up and apologised. Marian Marchewka hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute Andrzej Lerych shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piotr Sniegowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Piotr Sniegowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Przemyslaw Mlekodaj, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. If Benedykt Cizeski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 93 played minutes Andrzej Lerych rounded Space Cowboys's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
