Edgar Dembowski's late challenge caught a Lubell Lubartów's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgar Dembowski helped the player get up and apologised. Walery Zdrojewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krzysztof Mochowak having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johan van Boxel got free with Adam Bobrowski in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th minute Tytus Pieprz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Bobrowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle went the supporters of Galajny were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Lubell Lubartów side.
