After some careless play in the PKS Gliwice defense, Tadeusz Marchlewicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gwidon Luty. The PKS Gliwice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gwidon Luty should have stopped the shot. When Alfred Czerny fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PKS Gliwice's protests and gave Alfred Czerny a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, PKS Gliwice's Alfred Czerny got a free kick in the 11th minute. If Wincent Osielski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gwidon Luty showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeusz Marchlewicz in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Korneliusz Pierz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwidon Luty saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Korneliusz Pierz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwidon Luty having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeusz Marchlewicz in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gwidon Luty saved PKS Gliwice from getting behind. Wincenty Bendyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 吴适扬 hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Wincenty Bendyk who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Youri Ubels when he managed to save the team from getting behind. FC BASEL's Youri Ubels proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save FC BASEL from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tadeusz Marchlewicz in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gwidon Luty prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 40 minutes into the match, PKS Gliwice's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeusz Marchlewicz came free, but Gwidon Luty reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wincent Osielski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Youri Ubels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Youri Ubels made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wincenty Bendyk in the 45th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Korneliusz Pierz made the kick off in the second half. When Korneliusz Pierz came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the FC BASEL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Korneliusz Pierz couldn't finish the play. Tadeusz Marchlewicz came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gwidon Luty could save by the left post. FC BASEL were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after PKS Gliwice's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kryspin Dula took the corner. The corner led FC BASEL's Kryspin Dula to fire away a dangerous shot which Gwidon Luty despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The corner ended in Kryspin Dula almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but PKS Gliwice's Gwidon Luty did a great save. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind PKS Gliwice's goalkeeper Gwidon Luty, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. PKS Gliwice were furious when Klement Grondzki was red carded, 60 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for PKS Gliwice! When the match had been going on for 63 minutes, FC BASEL's Kryspin Dula got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gwidon Luty. After a defensive mix-up in FC BASEL's zone, Wincenty Bendyk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Youri Ubels came out of the goal and Wincenty Bendyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute, Korneliusz Pierz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tadeusz Marchlewicz got free with Gwidon Luty in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pawel Sroki kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Pawel Sroki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 91 minutes, Tymoteusz Fiszer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PKS Gliwice and the FC BASEL players grew even worse after the yellow card. 92 minutes into the game, Mariusz Kluska was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC BASEL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PKS Gliwice the free kick. Mariusz Kluska kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 96th minute of the match, Korneliusz Pierz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gwidon Luty saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in PKS Gliwice's zone, Tadeusz Marchlewicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gwidon Luty came out of the goal and Tadeusz Marchlewicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
