One of Animus 03 RUFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Korona Cieplice:s goal. The referee gave Korona Cieplice a penalty, 10 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Arkadiusz Chazen, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Animus 03 RUFC's Emil Walicki. 0-1. Emil Walicki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigiusz Hodyl, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Korona Cieplice's Remigiusz Hodyl sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emil Walicki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 20 minutes, Boguslaw Koperski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Korona Cieplice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boguslaw Koperski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Animus 03 RUFC's Emil Walicki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miroslaw Fetor in the 24th minute of play. Boguslaw Koperski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Emil Walicki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Animus 03 RUFC's Jacek Szostak slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wincenty Tychy. That made the score 1-1 after 34 minutes of play. In the 37thth minute of the game Remigiusz Hodyl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Animus 03 RUFC's Emil Walicki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 39 minutes of play, Korona Cieplice's Boguslaw Koperski made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emil Walicki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Korona Cieplice's Boguslaw Koperski got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Boguslaw Koperski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Remigiusz Hodyl's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emil Walicki was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Remigiusz Hodyl made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Animus 03 RUFC's goal looked a bit too open when Boguslaw Koperski came free, but Emil Walicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wincenty Tychy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Emil Walicki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigiusz Hodyl in the 61st minute of the match. Korona Cieplice's Wincenty Tychy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilbert Galus in the 66th minute of play. Emil Walicki made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Boguslaw Koperski sent off a good shot on target. After 70 minutes, Jacek Szostak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Animus 03 RUFC and the Korona Cieplice players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th minute, Jacek Szostak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emil Walicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigiusz Hodyl in the 71st minute of play.
