In the 9th minute, Rayo Nets Zaw's Themistoklis Nikolaidis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 14 minutes, Witalis Pstrongowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rayo Nets Zaw and the Animus 03 RUFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th match minute, Rayo Nets Zaw was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witalis Pstrongowski to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Rayo Nets Zaw booed when Animus 03 RUFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilbert Galus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emil Walicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Themistoklis Nikolaidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Themistoklis Nikolaidis in the 20th minute of play forced Animus 03 RUFC's goalkeeper Emil Walicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Animus 03 RUFC's zone, Florian Brzonkala stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emil Walicki came out of the goal and Florian Brzonkala tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Themistoklis Nikolaidis in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emil Walicki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Wincenty Rasialdo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavio Polido kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. When Themistoklis Nikolaidis fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rayo Nets Zaw's protests and gave Themistoklis Nikolaidis a yellow card for diving instead. When Themistoklis Nikolaidis came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Rayo Nets Zaw fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Themistoklis Nikolaidis couldn't finish the play. Animus 03 RUFC's Emil Walicki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Polido in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Gilbert Galus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Themistoklis Nikolaidis was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Animus 03 RUFC booed when Rayo Nets Zaw was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Polido didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Themistoklis Nikolaidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilbert Galus kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. A collision led to Animus 03 RUFC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Jedrzej Galagan hit a great ball. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Animus 03 RUFC's goalkeeper Emil Walicki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Animus 03 RUFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Flavio Polido was slow to take the kick. During this time Rayo Nets Zaw's players had a chance to rest. After having played for 73 minutes, Themistoklis Nikolaidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rayo Nets Zaw's supporters crossed their fingers, but Themistoklis Nikolaidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Themistoklis Nikolaidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roland Falkiewicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Bartosz Cupial made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Themistoklis Nikolaidis in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emil Walicki saved Animus 03 RUFC from getting behind. In the 81st match minute, Animus 03 RUFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilbert Galus to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Themistoklis Nikolaidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rayo Nets Zaw's supporters rose to their feet, but Themistoklis Nikolaidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emil Walicki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emil Walicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Brzonkala in the 87th minute of play. Flavio Polido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
