The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Wasyl Kaider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. Wredne Wombaty Oleśnica's Robert Coporan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cezary Sawicki in the 7th minute of play. Aureliusz Jakubiak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Korneliusz Obuchowicz having to make a save. Robert Coporan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boruc Wietrzychowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute, Boruc Wietrzychowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Inter Kraków fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Robert Coporan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boruc Wietrzychowski's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Korneliusz Obuchowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wasyl Kaider in the 29th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Boruc Wietrzychowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Inter Kraków's supporters rose to their feet, but Boruc Wietrzychowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robert Coporan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Korneliusz Obuchowicz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aureliusz Jakubiak went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boruc Wietrzychowski in the 37th minute of play forced Wredne Wombaty Oleśnica's goalkeeper Robert Coporan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th match minute, Wredne Wombaty Oleśnica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariusz Czajkowski to maneuver through the defense. If Czeslaw Majczyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 49thth minute of the game Boruc Wietrzychowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wredne Wombaty Oleśnica's Robert Coporan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aureliusz Jakubiak to make the kick off. After 90 minutes FC Inter Kraków's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Damazy Falkiewicz who took care of the corner kick. Wredne Wombaty Oleśnica's Damazy Falkiewicz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Korneliusz Obuchowicz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 94 minutes of play, Wredne Wombaty Oleśnica's Aureliusz Jakubiak made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Korneliusz Obuchowicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Wredne Wombaty Oleśnica had won after a very even match.
