After 51 minutes of play, Mersine's Napoleon Hatman made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Korneliusz Oliszewski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Izydor Marajda succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 58th playminute. 61 minutes into the game, Mersine's Napoleon Hatman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Korneliusz Oliszewski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Mersine's Arkadiusz Zatorski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zygmunt Gongolewicz in the 70th minute of play. After 77th play minutes Boruc Zawadzki shot 3-3, a short shot which went by Arkadiusz Zatorski and just under the crossbar into goal. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Witold Furgat put it in 4-3 from a short distance just to the right of Arkadiusz Zatorski. If Witold Furgat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Witold Furgat in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arkadiusz Zatorski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Izydor Marajda got free with Korneliusz Oliszewski in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 92 minutes into the match, Witold Furgat notched a goal, 5-3, to the right of Mersine's Arkadiusz Zatorski. Arkadiusz Zatorski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
