Plathe's Wincent Kilarski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Jastrowicz in the 70th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Lucjan Ziemniak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Lucjan Ziemniak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Plathe's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucjan Ziemniak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arkadiusz Zatorski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Lucjan Ziemniak came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Plathe fans jumped to their feet. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucjan Ziemniak in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arkadiusz Zatorski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wincent Kilarski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Napoleon Hatman, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. If Lucjan Ziemniak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Izydor Marajda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mersine fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. A hard shot 92 in the game by Lucjan Ziemniak from a close distance when the talented Arkadiusz Zatorski managed to make a qualified save. Mersine's players were relieved. After having played for 93 minutes, Kacper Dranka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Plathe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kacper Dranka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Kacper Dranka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Plathe's supporters rose to their feet, but Kacper Dranka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arkadiusz Zatorski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Mersine support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
