Tolek Borowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zachary Piesciuk in the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th minute Edward Zdrojewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolek Borowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Widrinnen's Tolek Borowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Widrinnen from getting a goal against them. Bogumil Sebzda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Borys Ciechocki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute of the game Radomir Golob made a throw-in which Ludomil Karpinski played forward. With an all-out effort, Prudnik's Tolek Borowski threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zachary Piesciuk, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tolek Borowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damian Zbydniewski in the 19th minute. If Damian Zbydniewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Widrinnen's Tobiasz Wawak got a free kick in the 26th minute. Radomir Golob struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Tolek Borowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Prudnik. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zachary Piesciuk in the 28th minute of play forced Widrinnen's goalkeeper Tolek Borowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bogumil Sebzda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zbyszek Lampe during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zbyszek Lampe hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute Widrinnen were awarded a corner. Bogumil Sebzda went to the cornerflag to take it. Bogumil Sebzda made a great header on Widrinnen's corner, it was just that Prudnik's Borys Ciechocki managed to reach the ball for a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Emil Majorski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Widrinnen's supporters rose to their feet, but Emil Majorski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Borys Ciechocki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After a defensive mix-up in Prudnik's zone, Lech Ruszkowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Borys Ciechocki came out of the goal and Lech Ruszkowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
