Marek Kluczyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juliusz Seliga having to interfere. 1-0 became the score in the 15th minute when Marek Kluczyk elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Bogdan Cwenar charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bogdan Cwenar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Topolnica SA booed when Stal Stalowa Wola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogdan Cwenar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maksymilian Roman scored 2-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juliusz Seliga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zdzislaw Rode scored 2-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Klement Kostrzewski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Jedrzej Chwalkiewicz came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Topolnica SA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jedrzej Chwalkiewicz couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zdzislaw Rode to strike the kick off in the second half. Damian Gdowskis short, quick shot in the 51stth minute got Klement Kostrzewski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 80th match minute, Stal Stalowa Wola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zdzislaw Rode to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the match, Stal Stalowa Wola's goal looked a bit too open when Maksymilian Roman came free, but Juliusz Seliga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Marek Kluczyk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juliusz Seliga was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. The penalty shot was made by Witomir Charlos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Topolnica SA's Klement Kostrzewski. 3-2.
