Napoleon Klewinski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. When Gustaw Poremba came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Piraci z Sosnowca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaw Poremba couldn't finish the play. If Gustaw Poremba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Piraci z Sosnowca players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Apogeum Knurów were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Radomil Bator made a kick off. Gustaw Jakisz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacek Starogardzki in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Apogeum Knurów's Radomil Bator dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Olgierd Cichowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcin Budarz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaw Jakisz having to interfere. After 62 played minutes Piraci z Sosnowca got a freekick which was hit by Gustaw Poremba. Olgierd Cichowskis short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Gustaw Jakisz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Piraci z Sosnowca booed when Apogeum Knurów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliusz Gecionis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Piraci z Sosnowca's goal looked a bit too open when Radomil Bator came free, but Gustaw Jakisz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Napoleon Klewinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaw Poremba in the 74th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Radomil Bator managed to get in a good position for a shot. Apogeum Knurów's supporters rose to their feet, but Radomil Bator was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustaw Jakisz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Przemyslaw Serwacki fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Apogeum Knurów's protests and gave Przemyslaw Serwacki a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th minute, Przemyslaw Serwacki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute, Jacek Starogardzki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Apogeum Knurów's Marcin Budarz got a free kick in the 91st minute. The Apogeum Knurów supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Apogeum Knurów would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
