Tomasz Bycofski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miroslav Písecký having to interfere. Witold Moryl hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. When FC Burn's Krzysztof Albercki in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Miroslav Písecký showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Red Stag's Leszek Zawaski got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in FC Burn's zone, Alfred Kinic stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miroslav Písecký came out of the goal and Alfred Kinic tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a defensive mix-up in Red Stag's zone, Lech Plech stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wojciech Domeradzki came out of the goal and Lech Plech tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Red Stag's Wojciech Domeradzki got control of the ball when Lech Plech tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 32 minutes, Lech Plech managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Burn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lech Plech was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Red Stag's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbert Gardocki came free, but Wojciech Domeradzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Red Stag fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 48 minutes, FC Burn's Wlodzimierz Kalemba got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Wojciech Domeradzki. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Bogumil Pasterski made the kick off in the second half. If Gilbert Gardocki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilbert Gardocki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Wojciech Domeradzki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute Krzysztof Albercki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wojciech Domeradzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leszek Zawaski charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leszek Zawaski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Burn fully deserved thier win.
