Ksawery Babicki started the match with the kick off. Witold Moryl kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Aureliusz Dziedelonis's late challenge caught a Devil Włocławek's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aureliusz Dziedelonis helped the player get up and apologised. After 8 played minutes FC Burn got a freekick which was hit by Aureliusz Dziedelonis. In the 9th minute of the match, Ksawery Babicki tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Miroslav Písecký saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With an all-out effort, Devil Włocławek's Miroslav Písecký threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cyprian Mitus, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Devil Włocławek's Miromir Falk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobiasz Hodas in the 13th minute of play. A collision led to Devil Włocławek getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Franciszek Skaradowski hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the game, Tobiasz Hodas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Miromir Falk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Miromir Falk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tobiasz Hodas went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in FC Burn's zone, Cyprian Mitus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miroslav Písecký came out of the goal and Cyprian Mitus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 29 minutes into the match, Devil Włocławek's Ksawery Babicki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miroslav Písecký narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Bartosz Hajduk made a precise shot to the right of Miroslav Písecký. FC Burn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 34 minutes into the game, Tobiasz Hodas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Miromir Falk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 40 minutes into the game, FC Burn's Witold Moryl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miromir Falk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ksawery Babicki got free with Miroslav Písecký in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tobiasz Hodas to make the kick off. Miromir Falk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobiasz Hodas in the 56th minute of play. FC Burn's Miroslav Písecký played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witalis Labus in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lech Plech in the 59th minute of play forced Devil Włocławek's goalkeeper Miromir Falk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Devil Włocławek's Miromir Falk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilbert Gardocki in the 60th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tobiasz Hodas in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miromir Falk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Devil Włocławek's Miromir Falk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Devil Włocławek from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Ksawery Babicki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Devil Włocławek's supporters rose to their feet, but Ksawery Babicki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miroslav Písecký breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Lech Malewicki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice moves Wlodzimierz Kalemba could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Miromir Falk however easily saved by the left post. After some careless play in the Devil Włocławek defense, Tobiasz Hodas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miromir Falk. The Devil Włocławek fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miromir Falk should have stopped the shot. After 81 minutes, Benedykt Zyskowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Burn and the Devil Włocławek players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 81 played minutes FC Burn got a freekick which was hit by Benedykt Zyskowski. If Cyprian Mitus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 86th minute, Witold Moryl left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Burn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. The crowd rose to their feet as Tobiasz Hodas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Miromir Falk. That made the score 1-8 in the 94 minute of play. FC Burn's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
