The referee ignored GKS Bełchatów's protests and gave Napoleon Buczko a yellow card for diving instead. Napoleon Buczko hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Zenon Gondek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaw Moczkiewicz in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Kajetan Topolski made a precise shot to the right of Radomir Gorzkiewicz. Nawsie's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Radomir Gorzkiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Klawke in the 25th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Nawsie's Norbert Pilitowski got a free kick in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Klawke in the 29th minute of play forced Nawsie's goalkeeper Radomir Gorzkiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Nawsie's Gustaw Moczkiewicz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zenon Gondek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 38 played minutes Nawsie got a freekick which was hit by Dawid Madajczyk. Tobiasz Kaider could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Zenon Gondek made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fryderyk Oleszak to strike the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, GKS Bełchatów's goal looked a bit too open when Tobiasz Kaider came free, but Zenon Gondek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute Gustaw Moczkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenon Gondek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Nawsie's Tobiasz Kaider sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zenon Gondek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gustaw Moczkiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of GKS Bełchatów booed when Nawsie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miromir Byczewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nawsie's Radomir Gorzkiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fryderyk Oleszak in the 73rd minute of play. Nawsie's Radomir Gorzkiewicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Nawsie from getting a goal against them. Dawid Madajczyk charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dawid Madajczyk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Borys Klucznik kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. GKS Bełchatów's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
