Borys Cwojdak was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 17th minute. GKS Katowice's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Zygmunt Waselenczuk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Borys Cwojdak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michal Damaski's late challenge caught a GKS Katowice's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michal Damaski helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of GKS Katowice booed when Fc Gliadiators was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michal Damaski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute, Borys Cwojdak reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zygmunt Waselenczuk. The goal made the score 2-0. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Michal Damaski to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, GKS Katowice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witold Rutkowski to maneuver through the defense. Leon Mitus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fc Gliadiators's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. GKS Katowice fully deserved thier win.
