But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wasyl Milko couldn't finish the play. Ludomir Smuskiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wasyl Milko in the 18th minute of the match. Ludomir Smuskiewicz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wasyl Milko went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Sebastian Mitus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gedaithen Czomolungma's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Mitus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ludomir Smuskiewicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ludomir Smuskiewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wasyl Milko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Szczepan Czech charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Ludomir Smuskiewicz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. After the first half Gedaithen Czomolungma were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Wit Dziuma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludomir Smuskiewicz having to interfere.
