Schönballen's Kryspin Makarewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witold Mojsiewicz in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute Antoni Pionek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kryspin Makarewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Carrigtwohill fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Carrigtwohill's Witold Mojsiewicz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Jedrzej Bryk took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kryspin Makarewicz. Schönballen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Antoni Pionek struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Kryspin Makarewicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carrigtwohill. 95 minutes into the match, Carrigtwohill's goal looked a bit too open when Zula Henryk came free, but Damazy Andrychowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carrigtwohill were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Schönballen for a fine match.
