Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Witold Mojsiewicz kicked off to start the match. Fryderyk Nalaskowski kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Liwa Kwidzyn's Radoslaw Babicki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fryderyk Nalaskowski in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Liwa Kwidzyn's Janusz Mojsiewicz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. When Carrigtwohill's Antoni Pionek in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Liwa Kwidzyn's goalie prevented a goal. The corner led to Carrigtwohill's Antoni Pionek getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Carrigtwohill's Witold Mojsiewicz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Radoslaw Babicki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When Carrigtwohill's Antoni Pionek in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Liwa Kwidzyn's goalie prevented a goal. Liwa Kwidzyn's Waclaw Peczkowski got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Liwa Kwidzyn's Wieslaw Jaszynski got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 29th minute, Witold Mojsiewicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carrigtwohill fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Rafal Ludwiczak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damazy Andrychowski having to interfere. In the 42nd match minute, Liwa Kwidzyn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaw Zdeb to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Liwa Kwidzyn:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Carrigtwohill:s goal. The referee gave Carrigtwohill a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Olgierd Zabrzeski, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Liwa Kwidzyn's Radoslaw Babicki. 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafal Ludwiczak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Tolek Joks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Witold Mojsiewicz took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Radoslaw Babicki. Radoslaw Babicki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Damazy Andrychowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafal Ludwiczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Liwa Kwidzyn's Gustaw Zdeb got a free kick in the 60th minute. With a little luck, Liwa Kwidzyn's Radoslaw Babicki got control of the ball when Witold Mojsiewicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 64th minute, Antoni Pionek reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Radoslaw Babicki. The goal made the score 1-5. In the 71st match minute, Carrigtwohill was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jedrzej Bryk to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Waclaw Peczkowski during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 75 played minutes Liwa Kwidzyn got a freekick which was hit by Waclaw Peczkowski. Tolek Joks, 76 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Witold Mojsiewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Liwa Kwidzyn's goalkeeper Radoslaw Babicki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Witold Mojsiewicz. When Wieslaw Jaszynski came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Liwa Kwidzyn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wieslaw Jaszynski couldn't finish the play. Damazy Andrychowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wieslaw Jaszynski in the 92nd minute of play.
