Witold Mojsiewicz started the match with the kick off. The supporters of TEAM STANLEY booed when Carrigtwohill was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olgierd Zabrzeski didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Izydor Henryk in the 8th minute of play forced Carrigtwohill's goalkeeper Damazy Andrychowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damazy Andrychowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milosz Ludzia, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Antoni Golob showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antoni Pionek in the 24th minute of the match. Witold Mojsiewicz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Antoni Golob firmly grabbed it by the left post. Antoni Golob made an important save on a dangerous shot by Witold Mojsiewicz in the 39th minute. Tolek Joks kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Milosz Ludzia was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Carrigtwohill's Olgierd Zabrzeski got a free kick in the 59th minute. Damazy Andrychowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Izydor Henryk in the 61st minute of the match. Antoni Golob made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antoni Pionek in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rd minute Witold Mojsiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoni Golob saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Carrigtwohill's goal looked a bit too open when Milosz Ludzia came free, but Damazy Andrychowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Milosz Ludzia scored 2-4 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Damazy Andrychowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Antoni Pionek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antoni Golob was relentless in the 86th minute of the game.
