Zbyszek Winograd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartosz Wawak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 minutes, Bartosz Wawak made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Atletico Madr id's Zbyszek Winograd tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ryszard Obuchowicz took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zbyszek Winograd. Zbyszek Winograd dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. In the 41st minute, Wlodzimierz Bury made a precise shot to the right of Zbyszek Winograd. Atletico Madr id's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 0-9 when Bartosz Wawak sped through Atletico Madr id's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zbyszek Winograd. Disappointed in the 0-9 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bartosz Wawak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Bartosz Wawak came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Mawer Kraków fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartosz Wawak couldn't finish the play. Zbyszek Winograd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartosz Wawak in the 64th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Bartosz Wawak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zbyszek Winograd was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. 68 minutes into the game, Mawer Kraków's Wlodzimierz Bury nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zbyszek Winograd made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-12. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atletico Madr id's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Larry May was slow to take the kick. During this time Mawer Kraków's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Larry May got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zbyszek Winograd quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Mawer Kraków's Mieszko Wyrzykowski got a free kick in the 77th minute. Zbyszek Winograd didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Mawer Kraków's Bartosz Wawak shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-14 in the ordered_time% minute. After some careless play in the Atletico Madr id defense, Ryszard Obuchowicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zbyszek Winograd. The Atletico Madr id fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zbyszek Winograd should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Bartosz Wawak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zbyszek Winograd was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Ryszard Obuchowicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Zbyszek Winograd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bartosz Wawak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
