Ludomir Liberko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beniamin Milko, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Ryszard Kochanowicz made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Wincenty Nakonieczny sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Author Team getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Cyryl Kasperowicz hit a great ball. If Zbigniew Barowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Author Team's Florian Sokolski got a free kick in the 16th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Beniamin Milko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ludomir Liberko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ryszard Kochanowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Wykowski in the 22nd minute of play. Zbigniew Barowicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ludomir Liberko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Beniamin Milko in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ludomir Liberko saved Author Team from getting behind. In the 47th minute Beniamin Milko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludomir Liberko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute, Edgar Wykowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Ludomir Liberko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beniamin Milko in the 55th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Zaglebie Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Wincenty Nakonieczny came free, but Ryszard Kochanowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Author Team's goalkeeper Ludomir Liberko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Beniamin Milko. Beniamin Milko took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ludomir Liberko. If Beniamin Milko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute Zbigniew Barowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludomir Liberko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beniamin Milko made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 70thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Ludomir Liberko would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Beniamin Milko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ludomir Liberko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ksawery Kazczyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zaglebie Sosnowiec's Ryszard Kochanowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateusz Jurgiel in the 82nd minute of play. Zaglebie Sosnowiec's Zbigniew Barowicz got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Beniamin Milko's late challenge caught a Author Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Beniamin Milko helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th match minute, Zaglebie Sosnowiec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beniamin Milko to maneuver through the defense. After 94 minutes of play, Zaglebie Sosnowiec's Beniamin Milko made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ludomir Liberko was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zaglebie Sosnowiec's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
