But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beniamin Milko couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute, Runice's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ksawery Kazczyk fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Beniamin Milko took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maciej Parzysz. Maciej Parzysz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teobald Cichocki was the one to do the kick off. Maciej Parzysz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beniamin Milko's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Maciej Parzysz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beniamin Milko in the 93rd minute of play. Maciej Parzysz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ksawery Kazczyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Zaglebie Sosnowiec fully deserved thier win.
