Waclaw Plachetka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sylwester Korytkowski in the 4th minute of the match. If Ludomir Birkenhagen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Wicher Szczecinek's Ryszard Hajduk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludomir Birkenhagen in the 14th minute of play. Miroslaw Ziemba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Waclaw Plachetka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Witold Rukszcz got free with Ryszard Hajduk in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to FC Wicher Szczecinek getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Miroslaw Ziemba hit a great ball. Miroslaw Ziemba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Konstanty Lepper fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC ŚLV Kielce's protests and gave Konstanty Lepper a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th match minute, FC ŚLV Kielce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konstanty Lepper to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Ludomir Birkenhagen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Waclaw Plachetka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miroslaw Ziemba in the 42nd minute of play. A collision led to FC Wicher Szczecinek getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Tymoteusz Serwacki hit a great ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

If Witold Rukszcz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ludomir Birkenhagen struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Ryszard Hajduk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC ŚLV Kielce. Ryszard Hajduk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludomir Birkenhagen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ludomir Birkenhagen took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ryszard Hajduk. Ryszard Hajduk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 66th minute, Bogdan Gdowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 68 minutes into the game, one of FC Wicher Szczecinek:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The supporters of FC ŚLV Kielce booed when FC Wicher Szczecinek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogdan Gdowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Czeslaw Zukowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute, one of FC ŚLV Kielce:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC ŚLV Kielce. When the match had been going on for 86 minutes, FC Wicher Szczecinek's Sylwester Korytkowski got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Waclaw Plachetka. In the 90th minute, Jacek Drugi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Witold Rukszcz might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ryszard Hajduk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Witold Rukszcz ran back to his position shaking his head. FC ŚLV Kielce's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
