Filip Ludwa might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zbyszko Ligas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filip Ludwa ran back to his position shaking his head. Dominik Ciempa lost his temper 22 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of Węgiel Brunatny Bełchatów booed when FC Kurów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominik Ciempa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lukasz Domeracki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Petrasz in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Kurów's Janusz Karanewski got a free kick in the 28th minute. Florian Okropny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lukasz Domeracki having to interfere. 36 minutes into the game, Krzysztof Rosen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Węgiel Brunatny Bełchatów's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Kurów the free kick. In the 36th minute, Krzysztof Rosen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute, Węgiel Brunatny Bełchatów's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Filip Ludwa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. FC Kurów's supporters rose to their feet, but Filip Ludwa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zbyszko Ligas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Florian Okropny sped through FC Kurów's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lukasz Domeracki. Zbyszko Ligas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Ludwa in the 76th minute of play. In the 80th minute Florian Okropny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukasz Domeracki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Kurów. FC Kurów's Lukasz Domeracki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save FC Kurów from getting a goal against them. Węgiel Brunatny Bełchatów's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
