The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Nankatsu Łódź's zone, Jacek Wolczewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radowit Walczak came out of the goal and Jacek Wolczewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jacek Wolczewski sped through Nankatsu Łódź's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Radowit Walczak. Leszek Niedzwiecki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radowit Walczak having to interfere. Radowit Walczak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacek Wolczewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Nankatsu Łódź's Radowit Walczak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacek Wolczewski in the 21st minute of play. Jacek Wolczewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Radowit Walczak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Radowit Walczak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leszek Niedzwiecki in the 29th minute of the match. Leonard Wielgopolski kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Nankatsu Łódź defense, Jacek Wolczewski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Radowit Walczak. The Nankatsu Łódź fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Radowit Walczak should have stopped the shot. Leszek Kaczynski kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Jacek Wolczewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

After having played for 63 minutes, Jacek Wolczewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Podbiele's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacek Wolczewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leszek Niedzwiecki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ludomir Ruszczyk came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Nankatsu Łódź fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ludomir Ruszczyk couldn't finish the play. 70 minutes into the match, Ludomir Ruszczyk notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Podbiele's Radoslaw Major. Radoslaw Major was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacek Wolczewski in the 73rd minute of play forced Nankatsu Łódź's goalkeeper Radowit Walczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wawrzyniec Brak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radoslaw Major having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Nankatsu Łódź fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 88th minute. Penalty! Jacek Wolczewski struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Radowit Walczak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Podbiele. The Podbiele players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
