In the 44th match minute, AIG CF Edinburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dariusz Bryk to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Oberlasisk's zone, Mieszko Rojewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mieszko Bronder came out of the goal and Mieszko Rojewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juliusz Jaruzelski to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Oberlasisk's Mieszko Bronder got control of the ball when Mieszko Rojewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. AIG CF Edinburg's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
