Spectators: 7498 (Terracing: 5624, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) Sanok-Kurii's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Ziemowit Penc scored to the left of an out of position Tobiasz Przewozik, making the score, 1-0. Ziemowit Penc received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tobiasz Przewozik came out and tried to block the shot, but Ziemowit Penc slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 11th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Niecki SA's zone, Fryderyk Watarz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wasyl Fink came out of the goal and Fryderyk Watarz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 17 minutes of play, Sanok-Kurii's Bernard Smolarek made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wasyl Fink was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Wladyslaw Lichniak in the 21st minute of play forced Niecki SA's goalkeeper Wasyl Fink to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wasyl Fink took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fryderyk Watarz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Wladyslaw Lichniak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bernard Smolarek came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Sanok-Kurii fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernard Smolarek couldn't finish the play. In the 30th minute Wladyslaw Lichniak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wasyl Fink saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wasyl Fink took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wladyslaw Lichniak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernard Smolarek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ziemowit Pencs short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Tobiasz Przewozik to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ziemowit Penc to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Wladyslaw Lichniak took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Wasyl Fink to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Niecki SA booed when Sanok-Kurii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wiktor Turacki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wasyl Fink made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wladyslaw Lichniak in the 59th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Fryderyk Watarz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Sanok-Kurii's Bernard Smolarek slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wasyl Fink. That made the score 2-4 after 68 minutes of play. Wasyl Fink took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernard Smolarek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fryderyk Watarz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wasyl Fink having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernard Smolarek in the 78th minute of play forced Niecki SA's goalkeeper Wasyl Fink to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sanok-Kurii's Fryderyk Watarz got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st match minute, Sanok-Kurii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lech Wysocki to maneuver through the defense. Fryderyk Watarz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Wasyl Fink tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wasyl Fink was a little too slow when Bernard Smolarek got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 2-5. When the match was over Sanok-Kurii could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Niecki SA throughout the match.
