To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the match, Baczki SA's Bogdan Nalaskowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zula Dzierwa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Baczki SA's Lucjan Milan got a free kick in the 31st minute. Zula Dzierwa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herbert Osikowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Witomir Matela lost his temper 38 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Baczki SA's Herbert Osikowicz got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Mierki SSA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Herbert Osikowicz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
