After a rather tough play, Roleski's Kryspin Winszman got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After having played for 10 minutes, Johan Wennersten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Częstochovia Częstochowa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johan Wennersten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Tomasz Roman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 24 played minutes Roleski got a freekick which was hit by Marian Mielak. 33 minutes into the match, Częstochovia Częstochowa's goalkeeper Zbigniew Pietrowiak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomasz Roman. When Boleslaw Turek came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Częstochovia Częstochowa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boleslaw Turek couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Wit Kapelski took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Zbigniew Pietrowiak to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Roleski's Borys Zabrzeski got a free kick in the 38th minute. Alexander Tholsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Alfred Zacharek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Igor Domaracki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alfred Zacharek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Tholsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexander Tholsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Roleski's Borys Zabrzeski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zbigniew Pietrowiak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomasz Roman in the 56th minute of play forced Częstochovia Częstochowa's goalkeeper Zbigniew Pietrowiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kryspin Winszman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zbigniew Pietrowiak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Borys Zabrzeski went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Zbigniew Pietrowiak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wit Kapelski, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Częstochovia Częstochowa's Zbigniew Pietrowiak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kryspin Winszman in the 77th minute of play. Zbigniew Pietrowiak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wit Kapelski in the 83rd minute of play. In the 87th minute Igor Domaracki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Zacharek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alexander Tholsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 91 minutes, Alexander Tholsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Częstochovia Częstochowa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexander Tholsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Many of Częstochovia Częstochowa's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Częstochovia Częstochowa may have spent more time on the ball, but Roleski were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
