Kazimierz Lichorobiec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogumil Zdeb in the 45th minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bogumil Zdeb made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Ferdynand Kiepski got a freekick which was hit by Gilbert Marchlewicz. Jan Zawada, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. But to his dismay, Jan Zawada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. The Widzew Łódź SSA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Widzew Łódź SSA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
