The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leonard Brudzisz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patryk Chlapowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Braders's zone, Argyris Bikopoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zbyszko Lukasik came out of the goal and Argyris Bikopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 15 minutes into the match, David Oton notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Braders's Zbyszko Lukasik. Zbyszko Lukasik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Biała Gwiazda's Marcin Wielowiejski got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Marcin Wielowiejski made a precise shot to the right of Zbyszko Lukasik. Braders's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Zbyszko Lukasik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcin Wielowiejski in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, David Oton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 35 minutes, Eugeniusz Birkenhagen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Biała Gwiazda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugeniusz Birkenhagen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ludomil Filanowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Biała Gwiazda's Marcin Wielowiejski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zbyszko Lukasik. Zbyszko Lukasik yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stanislaw Duda during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Biała Gwiazda booed when Braders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanislaw Duda didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Marcin Wielowiejski came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Biała Gwiazda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcin Wielowiejski couldn't finish the play. 84 minutes into the match, Bartlomiej Pawelczyk dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zbyszko Lukasik, 0-9. After a rather tough play, Braders's Adam Gierasik got a free kick in the 87th minute. With a little luck, Braders's Zbyszko Lukasik got control of the ball when Marcin Wielowiejski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 91st minute of the match, Marcin Wielowiejski got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zbyszko Lukasik was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Eugeniusz Birkenhagen hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Biała Gwiazda's Leonard Brudzisz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanislaw Duda in the 93rd minute of play. Biała Gwiazda's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
