Sylwester Golaszewski took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pankracy Jaszyna. Pankracy Jaszyna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. After the first half Boca Juniors Buenos Aires were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ziemowit Bartochowski to strike the kick off in the second half. Pankracy Jaszyna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Milosz Kicia in the 51st minute. When Sylwester Rosen fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MKS Słupno's protests and gave Sylwester Rosen a yellow card for diving instead. If Milosz Kicia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute.
