Lewandosky FC's Piotr Chuchro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remigiusz Owsiak in the 10th minute of play. LIVERPOOL were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Lewandosky FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Iwan Damaski took the corner. With a little luck, Lewandosky FC's Piotr Chuchro got control of the ball when Iwan Damaski tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to LIVERPOOL getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Ludomil Korytkowski hit a great ball. Lewandosky FC's Kajetan Cymbal got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigiusz Owsiak in the 43rd minute of play forced Lewandosky FC's goalkeeper Piotr Chuchro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Iwan Damaski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Piotr Chuchro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iwan Damaski in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of LIVERPOOL booed when Lewandosky FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksander Kiewra didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Ludomil Korytkowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. LIVERPOOL's supporters rose to their feet, but Ludomil Korytkowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Piotr Chuchro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th minute, LIVERPOOL's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kajetan Cymbal fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Napoleon Zalipski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Leon Nalaskowski fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lewandosky FC's protests and gave Leon Nalaskowski a yellow card for diving instead. Piotr Chuchro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iwan Damaski went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kajetan Cymbal in the 75th minute of play forced LIVERPOOL's goalkeeper Leon Chludzinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ludomil Korytkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iwan Damaski in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Piotr Chuchro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Piotr Chuchro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Maziarz in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th match minute, LIVERPOOL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogdan Maziarz to maneuver through the defense. If Ludomil Korytkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Napoleon Zalipski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The LIVERPOOL players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
