The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ludomir Czciborek helped the player get up and apologised. Ludomir Czciborek hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 12th minute by Kryspin Pachucki got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 25 minutes, Mariusz Domamir mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zagłębie and the Pikowo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Zagłębie's Mariusz Domamir got a free kick in the 25th minute. Tadeusz Jaszcz made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Rui Travassos sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Zagłębie booed when Pikowo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florian Fabiszak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tadeusz Jaszcz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kryspin Pachucki in the 32nd minute of play. Tadeusz Jaszcz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rui Travassos in the 35th minute. Mariusz Domamir lost his temper 37 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Mariusz Domamir kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Kryspin Pachucki received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tadeusz Jaszcz came out and tried to block the shot, but Kryspin Pachucki slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 40th minute. If Kryspin Pachucki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rui Travassos got free with Tadeusz Jaszcz in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Cezary Wojton kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tadeusz Jaszcz. That made the score 4-0 in the 47 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tytus Kochniarczyk to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Zagłębie defense, Zbigniew Barna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tadeusz Jaszcz. The Zagłębie fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tadeusz Jaszcz should have stopped the shot. In the 60th match minute, Pikowo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofil Janiczek to maneuver through the defense. Tadeusz Jaszcz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Travassos in the 62nd minute of the match. After 63 played minutes Pikowo got a freekick which was hit by Florian Fabiszak. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Travassos in the 71st minute of play forced Zagłębie's goalkeeper Tadeusz Jaszcz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tadeusz Jaszcz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kryspin Pachucki, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the game, Rui Travassos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Tadeusz Jaszcz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zagłębie's Radowit Zurawski quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dobromir Skrzypiec, made in the 88th minute of the game. Tytus Kochniarczyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Szymon Balonek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kryspin Pachucki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeusz Jaszcz having to interfere. Tadeusz Jaszcz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbigniew Barna in the 94th minute of play. Tadeusz Jaszcz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rui Travassos went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. There was no doubt that Pikowo were the better team. Pikowo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
