WRKS's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Miromir Kensicki 4 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Cyryl Terasek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miromir Kensicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Eugen Iacobeanu hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. WRKS were furious when Ulryk Gondela was red carded, 13 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for WRKS! In the 19th match minute, WRKS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugen Iacobeanu to maneuver through the defense. Miromir Kensicki received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cyryl Terasek came out and tried to block the shot, but Miromir Kensicki slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 26th minute. A collision led to GKS Katowice getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Slawomir Turok hit a great ball. In the 35th play minute Wawrzyniec Wawak came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cyryl Terasek. 4-0. After a rather tough play, WRKS's Grzegorz Marosz got a free kick in the 37th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tolek Kochanowicz got free with Cyryl Terasek in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute Slawomir Turok shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyryl Terasek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, GKS Katowice's Miromir Kensicki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cyryl Terasek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cyryl Terasek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Slawomir Turok, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Iwo Dulka's late challenge caught a GKS Katowice's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iwo Dulka helped the player get up and apologised. Iwo Dulka kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Cyryl Terasek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Slawomir Turok in the 58th minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, WRKS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grzegorz Marosz to maneuver through the defense. Slawomir Turok struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Cyryl Terasek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GKS Katowice. Cyryl Terasek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Zarobski in the 95th minute of the match. When Patryk Glaza fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored WRKS's protests and gave Patryk Glaza a yellow card for diving instead. In the 97th match minute, WRKS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patryk Glaza to maneuver through the defense. In the 99th minute of the match Jedrzej Czech sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cyryl Terasek skillfully saved the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. GKS Katowice fully deserved thier win.
