The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgar Piatek got free with Tolek Chrzan in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marian Zawadzki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milosz Jeziorkowski having to interfere. When Waclaw Falke fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Klukowicze's protests and gave Waclaw Falke a yellow card for diving instead. Milosz Jeziorkowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute, Zula Czysta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Klukowicze's Stasio Kajfasz got a free kick in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zula Czysta to strike the kick off in the second half. Leszek Kazczyk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Milosz Jeziorkowski made a huge save. 57 minutes into the game, one of MKS Śląsk Świętochłowice:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Klukowicze a penalty, 59 minutes into the game. MKS Śląsk Świętochłowice's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Klukowicze the free kick. Milosz Jeziorkowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. MKS Śląsk Świętochłowice's Tolek Chrzan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stasio Kajfasz in the 80th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, MKS Śląsk Świętochłowice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zula Czysta to maneuver through the defense. Marian Zawadzki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. MKS Śląsk Świętochłowice played a much better game than Klukowicze and deserved their victory. The Klukowicze players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
