After 8 minutes, Janusz Lesiecki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Liverbird FCC and the Sandecja players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 8 played minutes Liverbird FCC got a freekick which was hit by Janusz Lesiecki. In the 12th minute, Arsenio Soter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sandecja fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 15th minute, Zbigniew Dulka made a precise shot to the right of Grzegorz Ikalewicz. Sandecja's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When Cyryl Cichocki came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Sandecja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cyryl Cichocki couldn't finish the play. In the 19th minute, Jakub Waselenczuk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 27 played minutes Liverbird FCC got a freekick which was hit by Olgierd Walkowski. Bartlomiej Klimkiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Cucao in the 30th minute of play. Bartlomiej Klimkiewicz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zygmunt Bucyki went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Liverbird FCC's zone, Arsenio Soter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bartlomiej Klimkiewicz came out of the goal and Arsenio Soter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 38 minutes into the match, Angelino Cucao had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bartlomiej Klimkiewicz. Liverbird FCC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelino Cucao was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Zygmunt Bucyki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sandecja's supporters rose to their feet, but Zygmunt Bucyki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bartlomiej Klimkiewicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bartlomiej Klimkiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyryl Cichocki in the 44th minute of play. After the first half Sandecja were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Hugon Basinski hit a great ball. Angelino Cucao might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bartlomiej Klimkiewicz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angelino Cucao ran back to his position shaking his head. 54 minutes into the match, Liverbird FCC's goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Cucao came free, but Bartlomiej Klimkiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grzegorz Ikalewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbigniew Dulka in the 63rd minute of the match. Angelino Cucao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zygmunt Bucyki struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Bartlomiej Klimkiewicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sandecja. Grzegorz Ikalewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbigniew Dulka in the 69th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arsenio Soter got free with Bartlomiej Klimkiewicz in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bartlomiej Klimkiewicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Konstanty Przybyciel in the 73rd minute. Liverbird FCC's Bartlomiej Klimkiewicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Liverbird FCC from getting a goal against them. 82 minutes into the game, Arsenio Soter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5.
