But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugon Basinski couldn't finish the play. Tomás Hajto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Manchester City F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Krzysztof Lech came free, but Jonas Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gwidon Podwojski got free with Bartlomiej Klimkiewicz in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Krzysztof Lech struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Jonas Sena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liverbird FCC. In the 48th minute, Gwidon Podwojski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Krzysztof Bulkiewicz was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Zbigniew Dulka could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Jonas Sena however easily saved by the left post. Bartlomiej Klimkiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwidon Podwojski in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to Liverbird FCC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Janusz Lesiecki hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Gwidon Podwojski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bartlomiej Klimkiewicz was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Zbigniew Dulka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Sena having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, one of Liverbird FCC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Krzysztof Bulkiewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Bartlomiej Klimkiewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 74 minutes of play, Manchester City F.C's Krzysztof Bulkiewicz made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bartlomiej Klimkiewicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 77th minute, Janusz Lesiecki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner led to Manchester City F.C's Wu Chong Hai getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester City F.C's zone, Krzysztof Lech stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Sena came out of the goal and Krzysztof Lech tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Janusz Lesiecki hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Gwidon Podwojski put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bartlomiej Klimkiewicz. In the 97th match minute, Manchester City F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Hajto to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Liverbird FCC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Manchester City F.C.
