An unexpectedly hard shot by Krzysztof Lech in the 4th minute of play forced Klukowicze's goalkeeper Zbyszek Zywiec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kajetan Indyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartlomiej Klimkiewicz having to interfere. When Hugon Basinski fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Liverbird FCC's protests and gave Hugon Basinski a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Klukowicze booed when Liverbird FCC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugon Basinski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kajetan Indyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Zbigniew Dulka put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Zbyszek Zywiec. Roman Walicki struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Bartlomiej Klimkiewicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Klukowicze. Liverbird FCC's Bartlomiej Klimkiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Walicki in the 43rd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
