MKS Śląsk Świętochłowice were furious when Antoni Juroszek was red carded, 6 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Antoni Juroszek kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 8th match minute, MKS Śląsk Świętochłowice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leszek Kazczyk to maneuver through the defense. Tolek Chrzan acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 9th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Sebastian Cuber. With a little luck, MKS Śląsk Świętochłowice's Tolek Chrzan got control of the ball when Roland Slazak tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Roland Slazak took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Tolek Chrzan to make any attempt to save it. MKS Śląsk Świętochłowice's Tolek Chrzan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save MKS Śląsk Świętochłowice from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd minute, Roland Slazak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wierzchowie SA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Marian Zawadzki managed to get in a good position for a shot. MKS Śląsk Świętochłowice's supporters rose to their feet, but Marian Zawadzki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stanislaw Oryniak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Igor Sochacki charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Igor Sochacki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to MKS Śląsk Świętochłowice getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Igor Sochacki hit a great ball. Sebastian Cuber took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tolek Chrzan. MKS Śląsk Świętochłowice's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Julian Mocko's late challenge caught a Wierzchowie SA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julian Mocko helped the player get up and apologised. After 35 played minutes MKS Śląsk Świętochłowice got a freekick which was hit by Julian Mocko. With a little luck, MKS Śląsk Świętochłowice's Tolek Chrzan got control of the ball when Roland Slazak tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Marian Zawadzki came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the MKS Śląsk Świętochłowice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marian Zawadzki couldn't finish the play. Leszek Kazczyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marian Zawadzki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanislaw Oryniak having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Czerwinski in the 46th minute of play forced Wierzchowie SA's goalkeeper Stanislaw Oryniak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Mariusz Dlugi made the kick off in the second half. Tolek Chrzan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariusz Dlugi, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 58 minutes into the match, MKS Śląsk Świętochłowice's goal looked a bit too open when Mariusz Dlugi came free, but Tolek Chrzan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Wierzchowie SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariusz Dlugi to maneuver through the defense. Marian Zawadzki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute Roland Slazak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolek Chrzan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marian Zawadzki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Stanislaw Oryniak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th play minute Marian Zawadzki came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Stanislaw Oryniak. 3-1. Tolek Chrzan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Slazak in the 88th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, MKS Śląsk Świętochłowice's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Slazak came free, but Tolek Chrzan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the MKS Śląsk Świętochłowice defense, Roland Slazak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tolek Chrzan. The MKS Śląsk Świętochłowice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tolek Chrzan should have stopped the shot. Wierzchowie SA were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of MKS Śląsk Świętochłowice for a fine match.
