An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbyszek Grajewski in the 11th minute of play forced Wodzin SSA's goalkeeper Tolek Barys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucjan Walkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in KS Gdynianka Gdynia's zone, Gwidon Klawki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Burdalski came out of the goal and Gwidon Klawki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the match, Wodzin SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Zbyszek Grajewski came free, but Tolek Barys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaroslaw Czerniejewski got free with Tolek Barys in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 46 minutes into the match, Wodzin SSA's goalkeeper Tolek Barys had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florian Dubilas. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jerzy Domarecki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tolek Barys showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucjan Walkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Tolek Barys showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaroslaw Czerniejewski in the 56th minute of the match. When Jaroslaw Czerniejewski came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the KS Gdynianka Gdynia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaroslaw Czerniejewski couldn't finish the play. After 63 minutes, Leon Pachucki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wodzin SSA and the KS Gdynianka Gdynia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Leon Pachucki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florian Dubilas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tolek Barys. Wodzin SSA's Tolek Barys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbyszek Grajewski in the 68th minute of play. After 73 played minutes, KS Gdynianka Gdynia's Daniel Wiatrak shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tolek Barys came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in KS Gdynianka Gdynia reached it. In the 77th minute of the match Stasio Pracki sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tolek Barys skillfully saved the ball. In the 79th minute Zbyszek Grajewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolek Barys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tolek Barys showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaroslaw Czerniejewski in the 81st minute of the match. Tolek Barys took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbyszek Grajewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the KS Gdynianka Gdynia players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
